I was there around lunchtime today. The parking was good. The casino was not to busy. It was clean. It looked like there was some kind of maintenance going on in the men's room.
My experience is in reference to the casino, not the hotel. First-time visitor to this Lady Luck casino. We walked over from the Monarch casino just to explore the rest of the area. Firstly, we were warmly greeted upon entry (a major plus). The customer service was much better than the Monarch casino. Additionally, I appreciate the fact that this casino is smoke-free. We stayed roughly 2 hours and everyone left with something extra in their pocket. No complaints- definitely an enjoyable visit.
My partner and I only stayed for one night, but we both liked the room very much. Parking is attached, so it was an easy haul for suitcases. My only complaint was about the check-in process. We tried to check in about 90 minutes early, and the staff was only just arriving at the desk. We were told there was a fee. Understandable. So, we waited. We ate and came back to the desk 15 minutes early and were told to wait or pay the fee. We sat in chairs opposite the desk for 15 minutes, and then checked in. I get that rules are rules, but that was totally silly. I really liked the shampoo and conditioner. The room was updated and super clean. Best hotel shower I've ever had (great water pressure, and hot water came really quick). Bonus tip: If you walk outside and go down the street passed the train, there's a little pedestrian walkway along a crick. You hear a lot of road noise, but it's a nice little walk.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Connected to Horseshoe. Short walk to other casinos. Some of the decor and carpet are older and being replaced.
Black Hawk was gorgeous. Our casino is actually 2 casinos not one. The cashier from on side will not cash out tickets from the other side, and its a considerable walk from one side to the other. We are at Brew Brothers our food was good and inexpensive. Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. Staff were all very friendly.
My husband reserved a room here for our Anniversary the room was very clean nice size king bed. Service was great! I wish we could have won on the slot machines that was a bummer.
Love coming up to Blackhawk to enjoy my weekend and Caesars Rewards treats me right. Hotel rooms at the Horseshoe are a lot more up to date than the Lady Luck ones but very decent for the prices. Staff is absolutely wonderful and always makes me feel welcome, besides the curly headed security, I believe his name is Jose. Overall I’m pleased with my visits to Horseshoe/Ladyluck.
Get past the self check in kiosk, and the slightly(at first) confusing parking area relative to the room elevators... Lady Luck Casino Hotel offers a great value! The room was super clean and spacious, and very comfortable! I wanted to bring the King size bed home with me!
